I am a forty fifty-something mom of threefour three children who were placed in my care for the job of raising and loving even though it appeared I didn't qualify. Each of their journeys to me is a story in itself. At this moment in time I am in the midst of raising these three beautiful starts that have landed in my life and in my heart. Each of them is a joy to behold.

WE GOT AN APPOINTMENT!!!!
After he hung up from me, Nick got a call - they have scheduled the appointment for tomorrow (Thursday) at 7am! YEAH!!!! So I think they will be coming home Friday am. Just one week late :)
Holy s*it, this is some freaking drama! It sounded so simple -- wait two years, fly to Haiti, pick up a kid! I'm so annoyed I missed your call yesterday . . . and then I was afraid to call back in the middle of the homecoming scene at the airport: "I can't talk right now." But evidently you haven't been to the airport yet!
